Expanding Transit Routes and Fare Options to Ensure Accessibility and Affordability
As Regional Councillor, Chantal has championed active transportation, micromobility, and affordable public transit including the two-fare-card pilot for non-profit agencies, and the Seniors Free Day Pass pilot.
In her second term, Chantal will continue to prioritize making our region’s transit affordable, accessible, and able to get you where you need to go.
Greater Focus on Health and Safety Initiatives
As Regional Councillor, Chantal has advocated for residents who are sometimes overlooked, including seniors, people with diabilities, and low-income individuals. There are many great health initiatives in Waterloo Region that Chantal believes can advance the health and safety of everyone!
