Meet Councillor Chantal Huinink

Waterloo Region - A Place Where All Belong!

Chantal has served as Waterloo Regional Councillor since 2022 and she is seeking reelection this year.

As a regional councillor, Chantal takes great joy in supporting all kinds of community groups and making sure that each one knows that their purpose matters, and what they do makes a valuable difference in our community. Showing up as much as she can also means that Councillor Huinink will be available to you if you have difficulties with regional services or problems that need to be solved.

Councillor Chantal Huinink is not afraid to ask difficult questions. She challenges the way things are done, how services have traditionally been offered, and how policies have always been implemented.

Whether you are born and raised in Waterloo region, a newcomer to this community or someone with visible or invisible challenges, Chantal will work for you so you have what you need to live your best life in Waterloo.
